TURTLE DRONES
LIGHT
SHOW
A new generation of drone shows
We illuminate your wedding, city, brand or story with hundreds of light drones. Precise choreography synchronized to music turns the sky into a living canvas.
Formation possibilities
The opening animation on this website simulates more than 100 points of light moving between formations much like real drones.
Hearts, stars, circles, waves, anniversary numbers and other clear motifs for your audience.
Short messages, initials, dates or the final statement of the entire event.
Brand identities for companies, cities, festivals and product launches, displayed directly in the sky.
Smooth transitions between formations, dynamic effects, particle dispersal and a memorable finale.
Made for every occasion
A drone show creates a distinctive moment for spectators, cameras and social media. It makes its greatest impact at dusk or after dark above an open area.
How it works
We discuss the date, venue, audience, budget and the key moment the show should create.
We design the motifs and musical timing, then show you a visualization of the choreography in advance.
We assess the airspace and safety zones and arrange all necessary coordination.
We simulate and check both the choreography and the technology before arriving on site.
On site, we prepare the fleet, complete the final checks and launch the show safely.
Safety and technology
We simulate every choreography in advance and inspect the entire fleet before each event. Flights take place within a predefined geofenced area. The system continuously monitors drone positions, battery status and communication, switching to a safe mode if a deviation occurs. Our setup also includes a backup control station and an independent emergency communication channel.
We plan every operation in accordance with the requirements of the Czech Civil Aviation Authority and our approved risk assessment.
For shows abroad, we also manage the required local and cross-border coordination.
Liability insurance for professional operations is included with every show and meets the applicable requirements of Regulation (EC) No 785/2004. We can provide confirmation on request.
Every flight is managed by trained personnel and remains subject to the decision of the pilot in command.
Because we know the system in detail, we can inspect, service and develop it continuously.
We check the choreography, flight data and the entire fleet before every deployment.

Turtle Drones was born from a desire to bring technology, creativity and emotion together in one experience. Each drone is an individual point of light; together, they can tell the story of a brand, a city, a product or the people for whom the show is created.
From the first idea to the final flight, we build every show around meticulous preparation, safety and technology developed in-house. We do not produce generic animations. We create moments designed for a specific audience and a specific story.
Our experience with drones goes back more than ten years. We began by flying and building our own aircraft, then gradually added electronics development, fleet control and light choreography. Drone shows are the natural combination of everything we have been working on for years.
People behind Turtle Drones
Technology development, finance, safety and the light choreography itself all come together within one team.

We designed and developed our own light-show drone to meet our requirements for low weight, long endurance, high light output, precise flight and fast servicing. From the airframe and electronics to the plastic components and light module, every detail is under our control.
FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about planning, producing and customizing a drone light show.
A drone light show is a synchronized performance by specially equipped drones carrying LED lights. Each drone acts as one point of light; together they create shapes, logos, words and fluid animations in the sky.
The Turtle Drones fleet currently comprises more than 100 light drones and continues to grow. Not every project automatically uses the whole fleet; the exact number depends on the motif, choreography, available space and budget.
A typical show lasts approximately 5 to 15 minutes. The exact duration depends on the number of formations, the complexity of the choreography, battery capacity and the event programme.
Wedding shows start at €1,250, while city and corporate events start at €2,100. The final quote depends on the number of drones, the duration and complexity of the choreography, the location and the date.
A complete production with no hidden extras: story and choreography, visualization, site assessment, required permissions and coordination, insurance, transport, the production team and the show itself.
Yes. We can design the show around your logo, colours, message, product or event story. Together, we review the brief and create choreography suited to your audience and venue.
Ideally, book 4 to 6 weeks before the planned date. This gives us enough time for choreography, site assessment, permissions, testing and programme coordination. If your timescale is shorter, contact us and we will assess what is possible for your location and brief.
We monitor the weather continuously and safety always comes first. If conditions prevent a flight at the scheduled time, we first try to move the show within the event programme. If that is not possible, we follow the replacement-date arrangement agreed in advance. The final decision to fly rests with the pilot in command based on current conditions.
Yes. We plan our operations in line with the European EASA framework and the requirements of the Czech Civil Aviation Authority. We hold operational authorization based on an approved SORA assessment, the required qualifications and liability insurance. Before every show, we reassess the site, airspace, weather and safety zones.
We begin by simulating every choreography. Before the event, we check the entire fleet, batteries, navigation, communication, flight data and safety-zone settings. The show starts only after the pre-flight inspection has been completed successfully.
The system continuously monitors drone positions, battery status and communication. If a deviation occurs, it switches to a predefined safe mode. A flight can be terminated safely, and we have both a backup control station and an independent emergency communication channel available.
For initial planning, allow approximately 150 × 100 metres for a show using more than 100 drones. This is a working estimate, not a universal limit. Exact dimensions and safety distances are determined for each venue, taking account of obstacles, airspace and the planned choreography.
Yes. Choreography can be timed to music, commentary or a specific moment in the programme. Music files and their use are agreed during event preparation.
We handle the required flight documentation, site assessment and coordination with the Czech Civil Aviation Authority and other relevant bodies as part of the production. We primarily need your cooperation regarding the venue and event programme.
Yes, we operate throughout Europe. We work within the common European EASA framework and manage the required local or cross-border coordination according to the country and location.
